We will be carrying out network maintenance to upgrade our backbone capacity on Sunday, August 21st, 2022 between 1:00AM and 5:00AM EDT. This work expands our upstream Tier-1 bandwidth and provisions additional fiber circuits into our facility, improving headroom, routing redundancy, and overall responsiveness for all hosted services.
Because our edge is built with multiple redundant fiber uplinks, traffic is rerouted across alternate paths as individual circuits are brought down and reconfigured. This takes advantage of our network's redundancy and resiliency, so no further action is required on your part. The most you should witness are potential brief periods of increased latency and/or packet loss during reconvergence.
