We are pleased to announce that PHP 8.2, released on December 8th, 2022, is now available for selection across our hosting platform. PHP 8.2 brings meaningful performance improvements, readonly classes, new core functionality, and ongoing security support, and can be enabled per-domain at any time through the PHP version selector in DirectAdmin.
To finalize the rollout we will perform routine monthly maintenance on Sunday, December 18th, 2022 between 2:00AM and 5:00AM EST, which also includes year-end kernel updates and current security patching. This work takes advantage of our network's redundancy and resiliency, so no further action is required on your part, and the most you should witness are brief periods of increased latency as services are cycled.
